Sam Hundley News
May 31 - Aug. 18: The Can Foundation Presents ASSEMBLE, a group exhibition featuring Wade Mickley, Karen Freidt and Sam Hundley – at Assembly, 400 Granby Street, Norfolk, VA. – I'll have a bunch of new work on exhibit. Thrilled to be associated with CAN and my talented friends, Karen and Wade. Opening reception was May 31 and it was fun to see all the doodlers there, especially Rick Nickel and Christopher Revel.

Starting at the 4th floor and walking down, you can see "Jaded Panhandler" and "Mr President," a spoof of Biden.

"Slats" is made from a louvered door that was whitewashed and a bit of gingerbread from a local salvager.

So much energy

Hark! Bob Goulet!

Wade Mickley
Wade is incredibly meticulous in his craftsmanship but we share the same aesthetic – a love of decay.

Serene groove
Wade is a deep thinker and I love his use of lo-tech 45s mixed with smooth modern surfaces and rusty tin.
